How does this work?
Join using your Twitter account. From there you can create listings for Whatsapp, WeChat, or Telegram groups. After you add a group, other people can request an invitation to it. As the group owner you can accept or reject all invitations.
Why do I need to sign in with Twitter?
It's a trust thing. When you add a group listing on here, you want to make sure that the people that are requesting an invitation from you are who they say they are. The easiest way to verify their identity is by associating with their Twitter account.
What if I don't have Twitter?
I hate spam.
So do we, but that's not a question.
Why do I need to provide my number when requesting a group invite?
That's because Whatsapp doesn't have an easy way for people to join groups. The person that has created the group listing on here will have to manually add you, and whoever else requests an invite, on Whatsapp. They'll need your number for that.
Will my phone number become public if I add it to my profile?
Nope. The only people that will see your number are the owners of the Whatsapp groups you request access to.
Will I get spammed?
No. We value integrity over cheap marketing. We're also far too lazy to go through the effort of spamming anyone.
Can I request an awesome feature?
Not really. This is a simple website with a simple purpose. Unless your idea is holy-cow awesome, it's probably not even going to be considered.
Can I use Mobile Chat Groups to host a micro-community?
Absolutely! Check out the page for our embeddable mobile communities widgets.
I have a question that isn't answered on this page...
You could try tweeting this guy and hopefully he'll be able to help you out.
